This distinctive finish is achieved through PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment. A surface treatment long used in watchmaking and tooling, it deposits a very thin metallic layer (about half a micron) to give stainless steel a striking black chrome hue. Purely aesthetic, this finish does not alter the qualities of stainless steel (effective against oxidation, perfectly inert, odorless, and tasteless) and actually enhances its resistance to wear and scratches.

Your 12H34 wood cutlery can handle both hot and cold but is sensitive to moisture. Therefore, it is best to wash them by hand and dry them after each use. The serrated edge of the knife guarantees a perfect cut without ever needing sharpening.
